Tajinder Bagga Wiki, Biography
Tajinder Bagga is a national secretary of the (BJYM) Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, the youth wing of the BJP. He is a 36-year-old leader who also serves as the in charge of Uttarakhand’s BJP youth wing. In 2020, Delhi assembly elections, Bagga unsuccessfully contested from Hari Nagar. He lost to AAP candidate Rajkumari Dillon. During the polls, the (BJP) Bhartiya Janta Party was relying on Bagga to win back its bastion which it had lost to AAP in 2013 and 2015.
In these years of his political career, Tajinder Bagga has been known for making aggressive and politically charged statements. In assembly elections in 2020, Tajinder had called Shaheen Bagh, which was an epicenter of the protests against the citizenship law (CAA) Citizenship Amendment Act, a “base of traitors”. The BJP leader had also announced carrying out “surgical strikes on such bases” later the results of the poll were announced.
Recently Bagga co-founded the ‘Kulhad Biryani,’ which he has branded as the country’s first jhatka biryani brand to counter halal meat, which is usually consumed by the Muslim population who follows Islam.

The Delhi police, on Friday 6th of May, produced Tejinder Pal Singh Bagga at the residence of Duty Magistrate Swayam Siddha Tripathi. Bagga was brought before Duty Magistrate Tripathi on the day in response to a search warrant issued by Dwarka Metropolitan Magistrate Nitika Kapoor.
The Punjab and Haryana High court on Friday turned down the Punjab government’s request not to give BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga’s custody to the Delhi Police and keeping him in Haryana.
The court will now hear the matter on Saturday. The Punjab government (AAP) had moved a habeas corpus petition in the High Court on Friday.
