Salim Ahmad Ghouse was an Indian film, television and theatre actor, theatre director, and martial artist. Salim Ghouse has acted in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English films. Salim Ghouse’s birth took place in Chennai on 10 January. Salim Ahmad studied at the Christchurch School and the Presidency College in Chennai. Salim Ahmad was also a graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.  Salim Ghouse married to Anita Salim. Salim Ghouse has a daughter and a son.

Salim Ghouse is know for his role in TV series Subah and for playing Rama, Krishna and Tipu Sultan in Shyam Benegal’s TV Series Bharat Ek Khoj. Salim Ghouse has also worked in TV serial Wagle Ki Duniya.

In 1989, Salim Ghouse portrayed the villain in the Tamil film, Vettri Vizhaa, directed by Pratap Pothen as the rival to Kamal Haasan. Salim Ghouse starred alongside Mohanlal in the classic Malayalam movie, Thazhvaram, directed by Bharathan.

In 1993 Salim Ghouse did a villain role in Mani Ratnam’s film, Thiruda Thiruda, and also acted alongside Madhuri Dixit and Shahrukh Khan in the 1997 film, Koyla, then in 2009 Salim Ghouse acted in Vettaikaran. Salim also acted in films like Maharaja, Soldier.

Salim Ghouse is one of the Indian prominent actor. He died on Thursday 2022. Doctors gave the reason for Salim Ghouse’s death as Cardiac Arrest (Heart Attack).
