Career-
She is the first Indian woman to win an international Olympic silver medal and with this she has become India’s fifth female Olympic medalist.
Sindhu was a bronze medalist at the international level in the 2009 Sub-Junior Asian Badminton Championships held in Colombo.
She won the Silver Medal in the singles category at the Iran Fajr International Badminton Challenge in 2010. On July 7, 2012, he defeated Japanese player Nozomi Okuhara in the final and won the Asia Youth Under 19 Championship. In November 2015, She won the Macau Open Grand Prix Gold. Won the third women’s singles.
On August 18, 2016, at the 2016 Summer Olympics, she defeated Nozomi Okuhara of Japan in the women’s singles.
Sindhu won the silver medal and became the youngest medal-winning player in the country.
