Alex Yee was born on the 18th of February 1998 in Lewisham, London, England, United Kingdom, and he is twenty-four years old in 2022. Alex Yee’s parents are Chinese expatriates. Alex Yee went to Kingsdale Foundation School in West Dulwich, and then he attended Leeds Beckett University and graduated with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science. English triathlete Alex Yee won the first gold of the Commonwealth Games 2022 in the triathlon event. He has represented Great Britain at several international events and has won several medals. Alex has won an Olympic Games gold medal in the mixed relay and a silver medal in triathlon at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

Alex Yee also won a gold medal at the 2022 Montreal World Triathlon Sprint Championships in Elite and a silver medal in the mixed relay. Alex also has an impressive career in the ITU World Triathlon Series where he won a gold medal at the 2021 Leeds ITU World Triathlon Series and a silver medal at the 2019 Abu Dhabi in Elite.

Alex Yee won the gold medal in the 2019 Nottingham ITU World Triathlon Series Mixed Relay in Elite and the silver medal in the 2019 Tokyo ITU World Triathlon Series Mixed Relay in Elite. In addition, he won a bronze medal at the 2018 Weihai ITU Triathlon World Cup and a gold medal at the 2019 Cape Town Discovery Triathlon World Cup. He won two gold medals in the 2022 Arena Games Championship Series Super League Triathlon and the 2021 Championship Series respectively.
