Aika Robredo’s real name is Jessica Marie Robredo. Aika Robredo is eldest daughter of Vice President of Philippines Leni Robredo. Aika was born in Naga City, Philippines, on January 12, 1988, to Vice President Leni Robredo and late Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo and is aged 34 years and is their eldest child.

Aika earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Engineering with honors from Ateneo de Manila University. in 2008 Aika went on to earn her master’s degree from Harvard University in 2018.

Aika Robredo Career

Aika worked in the global oil business in the private sector for 4 years after completing her degree before joining the government. Aika Robredo worked in the Department of National Defense’s Office of Civil Defense until she resigned to campaign for her mother.

During the campaign, Aika served as a spokesperson and representative for her mother at some of the campaign events and activities that she was unable to attend. Aika also serves as her mother’s alter ego and official hostess at the Vice President of the Philippines’ official house in Quezon City, the Quezon City Reception House.

The Philippine Toy Library was founded by Robredo. She is the President of the TAYO Awards Foundation and Chair of the Jesse M. Robredo Foundation.
